China leads in warrants


Warrants turnover on the Shanghai and Shenzhen stock exchanges was the biggest in the world during 2006, with $13.4 billion more turnover than Hong Kong reported for the first 11 months of 2006. According to figures from Goldman Sachs, warrants turnover in China reached $221.2 billion during that period, compared with $207.8 billion for Hong Kong.
