Japanese bank continues global expansion


Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) has launched its equity sales and trading and investment banking operations in India. The Japanese firm also plans to launch a fixed-income business in India, with the time frame dependent on regulatory approvals.

Tarun Jotwani, former India chairman and chief executive of Lehman Brothers, now serves as Tokyo-based head of global fixed income for Nomura. He replaces Zenji Nakamura, now London-based co-head of global fixed-income and senior
