Goldman Sachs invests in Nordic Windpower

Investment bank Goldman Sachs has made a “significant investment” in Nordic Windpower, a manufacturer of two-bladed utility-scale wind turbines.

Nordic is about to start US production of its turbines, and the company states the investment will enable it to fulfill growing demand for low-cost, high-reliability wind turbines at a time when the industry faces persistent supply constraints.
