Dr. Yimin Yang has over 20 years of experience in financial risk management, including building and leading risk analytics for two top US banks: PNC and SunTrust Banks. His risk management expertise covers credit risk, market and liquidity risk, Operational risk, and Anti-money laundering. He is the first-ever Senior Director partner at Protiviti, the 6th largest risk management consulting firm in USA. Recently, he co-founded Loyal Trust Bank and serves as Sr. Executive VP, Chief Risk Officer and Chief Credit Officer.
Dr. Yang holds a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University, a Master degree from Chinese Academy of Sciences, a Master degree from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Ph.D. from University of Chicago. Prior to his financial industry career, he was a tenure-track professor at University of Minnesota.
