Dr. Nick Suppiah is the FinTech Program Director at Kennesaw State University with 8 years’ experience in both the undergraduate and graduate space. He teaches courses in Project Management, Management Information Systems, Information Security and graduate level classes in Digital Payments and Emerging Technologies. His research focuses on South Asian IT professionals, Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDC), Payments Industry (FinTech) focusing on EMV, Regulatory and Compliance, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) in India.

His professional experience in the payments industry (Elavon and FIS) includes 27 years as a Product Manager, Program Manager, Technical Lead for Network Regulatory and Compliance, Business Intelligence (BI)Manager and Senior DBA while earning his Doctor of Management in Information Systems and Technology. Before joining the Department of Information Systems and Security, he was a limited term professor at College of Computer Science and Engineering, teaching a wide variety of classes such as Database Security, Project Management, Software Design and Development, IT Policy and Law, Information Security Concepts Administration, Infrastructure Defense and Programming Principles.
