Konstantinos V. Katsikopoulos

Konstantinos is the deputy director of the Center for Adaptive Behavior and Cognition at the Max Planck Institute for Human Development, and also an associate professor at the Department of Decision Analytics and Risk at the University of Southampton. He works on integrating standard decision theory with the simple rules of thumb that people use, pursuing relevant applications in economics, management and health. Konstantinos serves on the editorial board of Judgment and Decision Making. He was one of two speakers in the first plenary debate at the British Operational Research Society Meeting, on optimizing versus satisficing.
