Julia A. Fulmore

Julia A. Fulmore is an Associate Professor of Management and currently serves as Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs and Curriculum Development at the Satish and Yasmin Gupta College of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Human Resource Development with a specialization in Organization Development and Change from The University of Texas at Tyler. She also earned a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and an MBA from Texas A&M University–Central Texas.
Dr. Fulmore’s scholarship centers on organizational ethics, culture, leadership, engagement, emotional intelligence, and employee commitment, with a strong emphasis on quantitative research methods. Her work often integrates rigorous methodological approaches with applied organizational challenges, bridging theory and practice in meaningful ways. She has contributed to research that advances understanding of workplace behavior, leadership dynamics, and ethical climates in organizations.
In addition to her research, Dr. Fulmore has demonstrated leadership in academic service and editorial work. She previously served as Assistant Editor for Human Resource Development Quarterly and has published in respected peer-reviewed journals including Business and Professional Ethics Journal, Human Resource Development Quarterly, Journal of Management Education, and Multivariate Behavioral Research. Through her scholarship, teaching, and administrative leadership, she remains committed to advancing ethical, data-informed, and impact-driven management education.
