Jack Ree

Jack Ree is a senior economist who has worked for International Monetary Fund (IMF) since 2006. His major assignment at the institution include IMF’s Resident Representative for Malawi, IMF’s Mission Chief for Tonga, and senior desk for Korea, Nigeria, Zambia and Lesotho (current). Prior to joining the IMF, Mr. Ree worked for Bank of Korea for 17 years during the time of Korea’s dynamic transformation from emerging to an advanced economy. He graduated from Seoul National University (economics, BA) and got his doctorate degree from Cornell University (economics, Ph.D).
