Guojun Wang

Guojun Wang is an Associate Professor of Finance at the School of Finance and Business at Shanghai Normal University. His primary research areas include asset pricing, blockchain economics, and fintech. He has published academic papers in internationally renowned financial journals, such as the Journal of Banking and Finance and Financial Analysts Journal, and has been awarded a National Natural Science Foundation project. His research achievements have earned him the Graham and Dodd Award from the CFA Institute in 2013 and the IQAM Best Paper Award in 2022. Before joining Shanghai Normal University, Dr. Wang has held positions at the School of Economics and Management at Tongji University, China Investment Corporation, CalPERS (the largest public pension in U.S.), CalSTRS, and Matthews Asia. Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. in Economics from UC Davis, and M.S. and B.S. in mathematics from Zhejiang University.
