Dr. Esra Karpuz Demir is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Finance and Banking at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Kütahya Dumlupınar University. She completed her undergraduate education in finance-related fields and earned both her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Finance from Anadolu University. Her graduate research focused on asset pricing models, the leverage term structure, and refinancing risk, with an emphasis on understanding risk dynamics in financial markets.
Dr. Karpuz Demir has published numerous articles in international peer-reviewed journals and has contributed to edited volumes through book chapters on digital finance, corporate governance, and green finance. She actively participates in national and international academic conferences, where she presents her research and engages in scholarly discussions on contemporary issues in financial economics. In addition to her research activities, she is involved in teaching and supervising students in the fields of finance and banking. She continues to contribute to the academic community through interdisciplinary and finance-oriented research.
