Devajyoti Ghose

Devajyoti (‘Doc’) Ghose is co-founder and managing director at Kah Capital Management, a mortgage investment firm. In 2018, he retired from Freddie Mac, where he had been Treasurer and a member of the management committee. While at Freddie Mac, he was also head of models and portfolio analytics in its capital markets division and served on the risk committee of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange and the investment committee of the University of California at San Diego Foundation. He has taught economics at the Doon School in Dehradun, the University of Arizona, Tucson, and the University of New South Wales, Sydney. Devajyoti was initially educated in India at the Doon School and at St Stephen’s College (Delhi University) and the Delhi School of Economics. He has a PhD in economics from the University of California at San Diego, where he specialised in econometrics.
