Carole L. Hollingsworth is a Lecturer in the Department of Information Systems and Security at the Coles College of Business, Kennesaw State University. She holds a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Information Systems from Kennesaw State University. She is passionate about helping students learn and has taught undergraduate students for over 15 years. Prior to joining Kennesaw State University, she taught at 4 campuses of Georgia Perimeter College which is now a part of Georgia State University. Before her teaching career, she worked in the cosmetics and beauty industry with multiple divisions of two Fortune 500 leading prestige brands. She held various positions working in the field and at corporate locations focusing on managing sales, operations, client relationship management, business planning and development.
Her primary research interests include the areas of Information Systems education, user experience with technology, FinTech, NeuroIS and Cybersecurity education. She has been published in several journals. Additionally, she has contributed educational support tools and digital content that enhance classroom instruction to multiple editions of textbooks, creation of test banks, instructor’s manuals and PowerPoint presentations.
