Çağrı Haksöz
Dr. Çağrı Haksöz is Associate Professor of Operations, Decision, and Risk Management at Durham University Business School. Before joining Durham University in 2019, he has held faculty positions at Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, India, Max Planck Institute for Human Development, Berlin, Germany, Sabanci School of Management, Istanbul, Turkey, Cass Business School, City, University of London, UK and New York University Stern School of Business. Besides publishing articles in top journals such as Operations Research, MIT Sloan Management Review, and Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science, Dr. Haksöz has authored, co-authored, co-edited books titled Managing Supply Chains on the Silk Road (with S. Seshadri and A. Iyer, 2011), Global Perspectives: Turkey (with M. Cakanyildirim, 2012), Risk Intelligent Supply Chains (2013), and Ipek Yolunda Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi (with S. Seshadri and A. Iyer, 2014). His research, teaching, and advising focus on risk intelligence, risk literacy, supply chain risk, decision making, and New Silk Road. Dr. Haksöz holds MPhil and PhD degrees in Operations Management from New York University's Stern School of Business and BSc degree in Industrial Engineering from Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey.
