Angela Dupont

Angela Dupont is an adviser at the Eurosystem Centre of the BIS Innovation Hub, where she leads Project Leap, a flagship initiative aimed at quantum-proofing the financial system. Her work focuses on integrating post-quantum cryptography into central bank infrastructures, emphasising cryptographic agility and secure payment systems.
Angela has co-authored BIS publications, including “Quantum-readiness for the financial system: a roadmap” and “Quantum computing and the financial system: opportunities and risks”, helping shape global policy discussions on cybersecurity in the quantum era.
Before joining the BIS, she worked at the ACPR, specialising in Fintech regulation, and at the Banque de France, where she held leadership roles. She holds an Executive MBA from ESSEC and a Master’s degree in banking and finance.
