Jiang Wu, born in 1978, is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Information Management, Wuhan University. His primary research interests include business data mining, social network computing, smart medical care and health, scientometrics of big data, information metrics and information services. He earned his doctoral degree as a joint-training candidate at the School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He conducted academic exchange at the Santa Fe Institute in the United States, completed postdoctoral research at the Institute for Computational Social Science, ETH Zurich in Switzerland, and carried out visiting research at the Department of Management Information Systems, University of Arizona, USA. He has been engaged in information management and electronic commerce research for more than 20 years. He has presided over a series of research projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and major philosophy and social science research projects of the Ministry of Education. He has published more than 60 academic papers in high-level domestic and international journals and conferences, and released multiple academic monographs.
