Yuk-Shing Cheng

Yuk-shing Cheng is a Professor of Economics at Hong Kong Baptist University. He served as Head of the Department from September 2014 to August 2021 and as Interim Dean from September 2023 to December 2024. He is the founding director of the Centre for Sustainable Development Studies. He has published in Journal of Development Economics, Economic Journal, Energy Policy, China Economic Review, among others. He holds a PhD from the University of Adelaide.
