Suparna Biswas is DST Women Scientist-A at the Applied Statistics Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, India, where she works on the project titled “Estimation of Risk Measures”. She worked as Postdoctoral fellow at the Indian Statistical Institute, Chennai and Indian Statistical Institute, Bangalore, India from 2018-2020 after obtaining a Ph.D degree from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Tezpur University, Tezpur, Assam, India, in 2017. She has worked extensively in the area of estimation of risk measures and it’s applications.
