Shane N. Hall

Dr Shane N. Hall is a Principal Analyst with OptTek System, Inc. His expertise is in linear, integer, and combinatorial optimization models and methods with extensions to approximation and metaheuristic solution methods. He performs business development and analytic consulting while also developing, prototyping, and testing algorithms for optimization software tools. Prior to joining OptTek, Shane served over twenty years as a military officer and operations research analyst in the United States Air Force. He obtained his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a M.S. in Operations Research from the Air Force Institute of Technology in Dayton, Ohio, and a B.S. in Mathematics from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
