
Former Citi COO John Havens resurfaces at hedge fund Napier Park

John Havens, the former president and chief operating officer (COO) of Citigroup, is joining Napier Park Global Capital, the hedge fund that spun off from Citigroup in March 2013.
Havens joins as a partner and non-executive chairman of New York-based Napier Park, which manages around $6 billion in credit strategies.
Havens has strong ties to Napier Park managing partners Jim O'Brien and Jonathan Dorfman. He recruited the pair to run Citigroup's fixed income alternatives business in 2007.
