RMF gains three major backers

Swiss-headquartered RMF Investment Group has taken on three institutional investors, Baloise-Holding, Gothaer Versicherungen and Winterthur Life. Together with Rentenanstalt/Swiss Life they hold around 42% of RMF Investment Group.

RMF now has more than 80 employees and funds under management of $5bn. Explaining the move, chief investment officer Urs Spoerri said that the firm was moving towards offering a widely diversified range of alternative investment products.
