Launched in March 1998 four months before the Russian market collapse, the Brunswick Russian Directional Fund, faced an aggressive Russian bear almost from day one.

It weathered that formidable storm and now, according to the fund's management, is in a market with good long-term opportunities.

The fund is managed by Russian Vadim Degtiarev who joined Brunswick Asset Management in 1997, coming from various employment including three years in London as a Lloyds broker.
