Moore Capital chairman responds to 'inaccurate' fund reports

Louis Bacon, chairman of Moore Capital Management, responded to what he called "a flurry of articles" about his firm, with a lengthy letter to his investors defending the performance of its two core funds this month.

Explaining that his firm traditionally virtually never talked to the press because they preferred to "fly under radar", Bacon confirmed that reports in newspapers, such as the Financial Times and the New York Times, were inaccurate in reporting the return of funds to investors.
