Hedge fund performance mixed over September

Performance has been mixed over September with some surprises for asset allocators, one of whom told Hedge Funds Review, he was 'very disappointed' by performance, particularly in the market neutral and long/short sector. Losers over September include Voltaire with a drop of 7.5%, Cambrian Incremental with a loss of 10.5% and the HSBC Market Neutral Fund which is down 6.47%.
