"Beware of LSD," family offices told in their search for the best hedge funds

Investors looking for return maximisation should set aside the money they need as a cushion and invest the rest in equities over the long term, according to Richard Oldfield, chief executive at Oldfield Partners.

Speaking at Hedge Funds Review's Family Office Leadership Summit held in London in mid-September, he said this was a strategy in which hedge funds may or may not play a part.
