SOROS FUND MANAGEMENT

Soros Fund Management has let 13 staff go in its London office, about a quarter of the people who work there. The cuts involve teams managing international equities and convertible securities. The move comes a month after the firm hired former Goldman Sachs executive, Mark Schwartz, to replace William Stack.
