Permal attracts pensions to first local authority seminar

The first Local Authority Pension Fund Alternative Investment Seminar was held on 14 September attended by 14 local authority pension funds and several private sector funds and consultants.

The seminar held at Nunsmere Hall, Cheshire was designed to stimulate debate and discussion on the subject of alternative investments, principally multimanager hedge funds and private equity and what role they might perform within institutional portfolios, in terms of risk management and diversification.
