Private equity exposure increased by investors

PRIVATE EQUITY | track record is the most important aspect for funds

European institutional investors plan to increase their allocation to private equity funds despite the downturn in the markets, according to a report from research company AltAssets.

The Limited Partner Perspective report, a survey of European institutional investors covering more than 110 of the region's most active and influential investors, found that 42% will increase their allocation over the next five years. Only 2% said they planned to reduce allocation in the near future.
