
Investors inject $360m of new capital into Asian-focused hedge funds in Q2

Hedge fund investors re-focused their attention on Asia in the second quarter, allocating more than $360 million in new capital into hedge funds in the region, reversing their pull back from the region in the first quarter this year. However, total capital under management with Asian-focused hedge funds fell, as performance-based losses offset the impact of new investor capital during the quarter, according to Chicago-based information provider Hedge Fund Research (HFR).
