She is a renowned educator, running public and in-house training courses in the UK and internationally for world-leading organisations including the London Stock Exchange Group Academy, Euronext, Risk.net, the Moller Center Cambridge University, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Elena is a thought leader, influencer and founder of a prominent industry think tank, the Best Practice Operational Risk Forum. She is a former Director for Education at the Institute of Operational Risk and chair of the Expert Panel for the Association of Foreign Banks. Passionate about the discipline, she founded her training and consulting practice after 20 years of experience in senior roles at Fortune 500 companies.

Frank has 25 years of experience in the audit and advisory business, primarily working in the financial services industry. In the past five years, he has been focusing on the implementation of artificial intelligence and machine learning in an ethical and well-governed way, allowing companies to see the benefits of these technologies while managing the associated risks. Although based in London, he is a visiting professor at the Universities of Ghent and Antwerp in Belgium, lecturing on risk management and on trends in technology in finance.

Mark is a former Global Head of Learning & Development / Cultural Change with over 20 years of multi-organisational experience in financial and professional services at corporates such as Barclays, RBS, Lloyds & KPMG. Mark currently consults on building Risk Management capability through innovative professional development programmes. Together with key stakeholders such as Cambridge University’s Judge Business School, he developed the first large scale, certified change programme with global reach focussing on compliance, conduct and culture.
Mark is also an experienced speaker and facilitator. He works regularly with groups ranging from small leadership teams to summits with over a hundred participants. Ed Chedzoy is the Global Head of Risk, Regulatory and Conduct Learning at Standard Chartered Bank.
A key member of the People Capability Leadership team, he is a highly experienced learning professional. Who consistently challenges regulatory expectations to deliver high quality learner experience in his role to keep both the bank and its employees safe.
Ed runs a global team that is both hybrid and agile. Working closely across the Business, Risk, Compliance, and other key functions across the bank.
In previous roles, Ed was Global Head of Compliance and Operational Risk Learning at UBS and has also worked in the vendor/consulting world as the training lead at Complinet, a Compliance and Regulatory intelligence firm.
Ed lives and breath’s L&D and is always either building or attending training sessions to grow his knowledge. He holds a Diploma in Investment Compliance from the CISI, Cambridge University Sustainable Finance Certificate and a LUMA in Human Centred Design. As well as many other Certifications in Climate Risk, Credit Risk Management and many Compliance areas.
In 2015 Ed was awarded the Most Effective Compliance Training Programme award in the industry, for his work at UBS.
