About the course

Participants will explore diverse types and methodologies of climate risk models, as well as how to integrate these models. Alongside the subject matter expert, they will discover best practices for mitigating key transitional and physical risks through modelling.

This learning opportunity is both practical and theoretical. Participants will assess examples of climate models in play, focusing on key implementation tools to improve climate risk management frameworks. They will also delve into the theory by examining the TFDC guiding principles and the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) climate disclosure proposal.

Participants will leave the course with the necessary skills to effectively utilise the results of climate modelling and therefore develop the strategic decision-making process of their organisation.
