KWI allies with Toshiba to tap Japanese market

KWI, the London-based risk technology company, has created the first Japanese-language energy trading and risk management (ETRM) application in conjunction with Toshiba Corporation, the Japanese developer and manufacturer of power generation systems.

KWI and Toshiba have been working together over the last year to produce the ETRM platform, KWI said in a statement.

The system, called 'Power Trader(tm)', is available for the Japanese market with front, middle and back-office functionality and an interface to the Japanese Electric Power Exchange, (JEPX).
