OpenLink expands into Asia



US trading and risk management software vendor OpenLink opened an office in Singapore in February with a staff of six. Jean-Claude Riss, who is responsible for OpenLink's international sales operations, will oversee the office.

"Singapore's a major hub for energy and commodity trading, so we've been able to hire some very experienced people," says Coleman Fung, founder and chief executive of OpenLink, based in Long Island, New York. He says he hopes to have at least 18 staff in Singapore in five
