DB USA’s cleared OTC notional surges eightfold in Q2

Revival of FCM propels Deutsche’s cleared OTC derivatives to fourth-largest among non-G-Sibs

Deutsche Bank USA’s notional cleared over-the-counter derivatives skyrocketed in the second quarter to $1.48 trillion, the highest amount since 2016.

The bank’s previous reading was $160.2 billion as of March 30, which itself had been a nine-year high. Prior to that, DB USA ended 2025 with just $39 billion of cleared OTC notional.
