FICC-cleared MMF reverse repos hit record high in June

Non-Fed reverse repos exceed $3 trillion for the first time

US money market funds’ (MMFs) reverse repurchase agreements cleared through the Fixed Income Clearing Corporation (FICC) reached a record high in June, lifting their investments outside the Federal Reserve to an all-time high, data from the Office of Financial Research shows.

FICC-cleared reverse repos rose by $132 billion, or 11%, to $1.3 trillion, marking their largest monthly increase of 2026
