Swap customer funds hit record in May at US FCMs

Wells Fargo, BofA see sharpest upticks; Barclays and BNPP reach new highs

US futures commission merchants (FCMs) held a record $198.7 billion in customer funds for swaps transactions in mid-May, the highest level on record going back to 2012.

This marked a 3.7% increase from two weeks earlier and 19.3% in 12 months.
