Year-end risk-weight rise of 60pp triggers 18.2% spike in risk charges

Equity investment risk-weighted assets (RWAs) at Saudi National Bank (SNB) jumped 18.2% in the fourth quarter of 2025 to a record 99.2 billion riyals ($26.4 billion), following an increase in risk-weights under a Basel III phase-in.
