Barclays Capital F&O funds jump past $20bn, narrowing gap with Citi
Customer and total funds rose in early November as most FCMs reported declines
Total funds for futures and options (F&Os) at Barclays Capital surpassed $20 billion for the first time in November, even as 36 of the 52 reporting futures commission merchants (FCMs) posted declines during the first two weeks of the month, pulling the aggregate down $11.1 billion to a four-month low of $351 billion.
Barclays Capital’s latest increase translates into a 20.7% year-on-year rise
