Global OTC derivatives jump €72trn in 2024

Europe, UK, Canada and China hit record highs, while US banks pull back

The notional amount of over-the-counter derivatives soared to record highs across global banks in 2024, a Risk Quantum analysis of systemic risk disclosures shows.
