PacWest leads banks on NII growth decline
Deutsche Bank bucks positive European trend while NatWest leads UK negative growth in Q3
PacWest continued to head a group of US, UK and European banks in reporting the largest negative net interest income (NII) growth in the third quarter.
Just 21 of the 49 lenders analysed by Risk Quantum reported a positive NII growth between June and September. The rest saw NII growth declining by between -0.4% and -30%.
