

Dollar OIS volumes hit $3.3trn high
Trading in US dollar overnight index swaps (OIS) surged to two-year highs last week, with the total traded notional nearly five times the 2019 weekly average.
The week ending February 28 saw $3.3 trillion in notional traded for USD OIS swaps, according to data from the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s (DTCC) trade repository. Volumes peaked on Thursday (February 27) when $843 billion in notional hit the market.
Short-dated swaps dominated trading. More than $1.1 trillion in notional
