

Eurex Clearing members add €609m to default fund
Members’ contributions to Eurex Clearing’s default fund rose 20% to €3.7 billion ($4 billion) in the second quarter of the year, the highest level since Q1 2016.
The central counterparty’s own prefunded contributions were flat at €200 million quarter-on-quarter, but they increased 33% on the same quarter a year ago.
The CCP had 100 clearing members as of Q2 2019, four more than in the previous quarter, and the same number a year ago.
