Mortgages, auto loans find a home in new EU securitisations

From July 1, €28.1 billion ($31.5 billion) of securitisations were designated as simple, transparent and standardised (STS),  the European Securities and Markets Authority disclosed.

The watchdog listed 23 public STS securitisations under 85 international securities identification numbers (Isins). Risk Quantum found volume data for 83.

Forty-six of the Isins referenced securities denominated in euros, 34 in sterling and three in dollars.

The issuers were: Banca Cassa di Risparmio; Mercedes
