Brooks Stevens plans new venture after 27 years with Bank of America and Merrill Lynch


A veteran clearing executive at Bank of America has departed to start a new firm.

Brooks Stevens, a managing director and European head of senior relationship management for futures and options and over-the-counter clearing, left the bank on October 1.

His departure was confirmed by two sources with knowledge of the matter. understands that Stevens intends to launch a new venture in the first half of 2022 in partnership with industry colleagues.

Stevens and Bank of America declined
