Quant Guide 2020: top programmes lean on alumni networks

For top schools, some of the most important students are the ones that have already graduated


In their battle to keep up with the constantly evolving demands of employers, quantitative finance master’s programmes are building a clandestine army of insiders: their former students.

Several schools that polled strongly in this year’s Quant Guide say their multi-year efforts to boost alumni participation are bearing fruit: well-positioned former students can make valuable contributions in advising the faculty, where they identify and report on industry trends and impending topics of note
