Deals of the Year: CE2 Carbon Capital

The $10 million Red Fern carbon offset project sees CE2 Carbon Capital team up with developer Dogwood Carbon Solutions on an improved forest management carbon project in the US. It will involve approximately 300,000 acres of land in the Ozarks region of Missouri and Arkansas. According to Gregory Arnold, managing partner of CE2 Carbon Capital, the project will aggregate offsets for an initial period of 50 years from a group of 300 to 600 landowners with average holdings of 500 to 1,000 acres
