S&P warns on Pillar 2 implementation

S&P says major banks may be falling short on Pillar II implementation

Standard & Poor's has sent out a red flag that some banks, including some of the most sophisticated on the planet, are facing difficulties in implementing elements of Basel II. The main issues are installing transparent, auditable and replicable systems to allocate regulatory capital efficiently between business units.
