Ziff transfers to Mercer Oliver Wyman from Nera

Bradley Ziff has joined Mercer Oliver Wyman (MOW), a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan, as a director to help with the consultancy’s global efforts in operational risk consulting.

Ziff moves to MOW from National Economic Research Associates (Nera) Economic Consulting - another Marsh & McLennan company. He was a New York-based vice-president within Nera’s global securities group.

John Drzik, president of MOW, highlighted Ziff’s recent operational risk benchmarking research as uncovering “the emerging best practices among global financial institutions”, and added that the Basel II Accord is “increasing the focus on operational risk” in financial services.
