London Bridge acquires stake in Amelia Financial Systems

LONDON – London-based operational risk management software firm Amelia Financial Systems said today that London Bridge Software Holdings plc had acquired a stake in the company of less than 20%. However, they declined to give a specific figure.

Amelia also expects London Bridge to become a distributor of OR2Q, Amelia’s web-based operational risk management software, by the end of October.

London Bridge chairman Gordon Crawford said: “Operational risk is an important area for our existing customers and we expect to see significant synergies in what we believe to be one of the fastest growing areas in the banking software sector since the release of the Basle II consultative document.”BaselAlert.com
