New guidelines on common reporting released

CEBS has published a recast version of guidelines for prudential reporting for credit institutions and investment firms.

Guidelines on the reports used by credit institutions and investment firms for prudential reporting to any European Union supervisor have been published by the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) today. The guidance reflects new requirements under the new capital regulation for such firms.

The new guidelines replace the common reporting framework (Corep) issued by CEBS in January
