BCBS releases new home-host document
BASEL -- The Basel Committee on Banking Supervision released further guidelines on how banking supervisors should approach home-host issues when implementing the advanced measurement approach (AMA) for op risk in mid-May.
The committee acknowledged that it had received "informal requests and comments" from the industry on the subject. Indeed, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association (Isda) penned a letter to the Accord Implementation Group, strongly criticising the Principles for the home-host recognition of AMA op risk capital document released by the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision in January
